TOP 6 FOODS I EAT TO STAY LEAN by Sonny Phull

There are certain foods that I can’t live without. These are my dietary staples. They’re the foods that help me stay on track. They’re the foods that keep the health quotient of my meals high and help me to stay lean and fit.

I wanted to share with you my top 6 foods in this post here:

  • Natural Peanut Butter
  • Eggs
  • Protein Powder
  • Avocados
  • Greens
  • 90% Dark Chocolate

1. Natural Peanut Butter

Great for healthy fats, and versatile. I use Peanut Butter most often with my Super Smoothie Shakes, and on rice cakes as an afternoon snack along with sliced bananas.

2. Eggs

Among a few other foods, I have eggs for breakfast every morning. Since I eat so many and often include yolks, I make sure I’m getting an omega 3 boost with each scrambled, omelet, etc. Eggs are cheap, high in protein and quality fats, and very quick to make.

3. Protein Powder

I usually have this as part of a protein smoothie after a workout to build muscle and repair tissues. Protein shakes are also a great, convenient meal replacement if you are traveling and need something nutritious on the go. If you have a busy schedule, good protein powder is indispensable.

4. Avocados

Avocados are the most nutrient-rich fruit on the planet. And beyond that, they’re delicious when chopped and added to salads or veggie dishes, to condiments, or just eaten alongside a lean protein source.

5. Greens

Most of you wouldn’t be surprised to see greens on my list. A good greens product definitely reaches superfood status and therefore I typically add a serving with most my meals during the day.

6. 90% Dark Chocolate

Low in sugar, high in fiber, and very healthy, once I tried it and gained a taste for it, I never went back. It’s a powerful source of antioxidants, and if you have seen some of my earlier posts, you will know that it can also improve brain function.
